Our Adoption Requirements
Robin will review your answers and see if you are a good fit to adopt with Del Mar Dog Rescue and/ or the dog you're applying for.
We interview you personally to make sure that you’re a good fit for Del Mar Dog Rescue and understand the commitment of a new pet.
Once your application is approved, then next steps include meeting your future pet and coordinating when and where you'll pick up your new do.
Sign contract and pay adoption fee to checkout using our Shelterluv portal. Documents and medical history sent upon completion of that checkout process.
Bring your new gear to equip your dog for pick up (leash, collar, harness, doggy seatbelt or car seat, etc.), and take your new family member home.
