Ernie was rescued from the pound where he was stuck in a 8x8 area. We couldn't help but be instantly connected to him as he was so angelic. He's a very sweet young man and a total fluffball! Great Pyrenees, by breed, are well mannered, devoted, and calm. The breed originally comes from the France side of the Pyrenees mountains that separate France and Spain as a livestock guardian dog protecting livestock from predators such as coyotes, bears, and wolves. The Great Pyrenees is an ancient breed with origins dating back to 1800 B.C.! Great Pyrenees are majestic dogs with strong bodies, broad chests, muscular shoulders and thighs, and rounded, close-cupped, feet with well-padded toes.
