Angel

Look at our ‘Angel’! No more Ribs in sight!! She is beaming and well deserved after what she has been through. In case you missed Angel’s story, we were notified about Angel on May 26. Poor baby girl - skin & bones- all alone hanging on to life by a thread. Robin immediately jumped into action and had our friends & dog angels on the way to get her and bring her straight to San Diego. When the rescuers arrived to Angel, they saw right away that she wouldn’t make the drive and need immediate vet care. She needed a blood transfusion and fluids STAT! She was extremely dehydrated and weak. She wouldn’t have made it out there another day by herself. 5 days of rest and consistent feedings later — Angel was on her way to San Diego!! She spent the first bit of time getting accustomed to home life with Robin. By June 6, she had put on 4lbs! Angel had been through so much and some things were hard to work through, so she went to @caninejulz for a -2 week- board and train!!! She gained manners, confidence, became less reactive, and learned some commands!♥️ Following her upward Journey, she then got the opportunity to be paired with her amazing foster mama Nicole! Angel has made remarkable strides in trust and human connection (among many other things) thanks to Nicole. She looks good, feels good, and has a wonderful, vibrant personality that comes out more and more each day! Angel would love the opportunity to call a house a home!
